half the time when I download an ISO online it doesn't have any menus or anything, it's just a single m2ts file for the movie that could've been more easily shared as a REMUX MKV lol. you just end up with a folder instead of an ISO.
I've never really seen a need to create an ISO. the "Backup" function in MakeMKV is sufficient on its own, ie. if it's got BD-J menus or something there's a very good chance it won't play back properly due to copy protection baked into the "software" that's part of the disc. Note: I've never actually tried burning an ISO of a backed up BDMV/CERTIFICATE folder. I'd name the top level folder you create when backing up the disc the same thing as the disc label so you know what it actually was. If you want to make an ISO, ignore the MAKEMKV folder and just use the first two in the root of the image. should be the second icon, green arrow into a folder, tooltip says "Backup" - you'll end up with 3 folders created - BDMV, CERTIFICATE, and MAKEMKV Just make sure to tag the post with the flair and give a little background info/context. Everything will be in there, menus, video, etc. You'll get a decrypted copy of the 'BDMV' folder that's like 'VIDEOTS' from the DVD days. Not the big button in the main window that 'opens' the disc and offers to create MKV's. On Fridays we'll allow posts that don't normally fit in the usual data-hoarding theme, including posts that would usually be removed by rule 4: “No memes or 'look at this '” Open MakeMKV and click the button in the top toolbar that saves the whole disc's file structure. We are not your personal archival army.No unapproved sale threads or advertisement posts.
